Snow College Streamlines Campus Box Office Sales and Offers Patrons Online Ticketing

August 7, 2012 – Snow College has chosen TICKETsage, Inc. as its new ticketing solution to improve box office efficiency and boost patron satisfaction.

After analyzing several box office systems via bids submitted based on the RFP, TICKETsage was chosen as the best solution due to its power, flexibility and ease of use. “When we were in the market for a new ticketing system we were looking for a company who gives sterling customer service and was easy for customers to use. We had four different companies give us presentations and TICKETsage was the unanimous consensus of our panel.” says Joe Anderson, Executive Director of the Sevier Valley Center located on the Richfield campus in Sevier, Idaho. “The package that they presented to us met and exceeded our needs. Anderson was a key decision maker during the RFP evaluation and was assigned the role of Administrator for the overall ticketing system and implementation process.

TICKETsage provides proven, cutting edge services that will help the College meet their goals of implementing an integrated campus-wide, web-based system to manage all events and will provide customers/patrons with convenient options to purchase tickets from home or on the go.

The College also will be able to track and analyze audience data on all events and implement new ways to target a younger audience, using the web and promotions.

Prior to selecting TICKETsage, all campus venues were, “on their own for how they sell tickets,” says Andrea Tripodi, Sales Executive for TICKETsage. “We created a custom solution to streamline the process for the entire college and to provide ticket buyers the best experience possible, allowing the college to have complete control over ticket sales.” The new ticketing system enables the college to sell tickets for all six venues on two campuses, providing patrons unprecedented access to tickets for all sports events and music/theater performances.

Snow College will be taking advantage of TICKETsage’s unique Distributed Ticketing Application which allows both box office personnel and online patrons to process orders in real-time from full inventory. The distributed architecture eliminates the chance for seat duplication and insures accurate reporting and reconciliation.

Snow College patrons will now be able to choose their own seats in real time using TICKETsage’s patented, secure, four-step ordering process. Patrons will also be able to print their tickets at home, eliminating the need to stand in line at will-call. Additionally,

Snow College students will be able to use their student IDs to pay for tickets and gain admission to campus events with just a swipe of their ID card.
